A.D.A Advisory

When I give food to the poor they call me a saint, when I ask why the poor have no food, they call me a communist.

— Dom Hélda Camara

A.D.A was founded by Andrea De Almeida, as a social impact advice and collaboration practice. We exist to transform the way business, government, nonprofits and philanthropy collaborate and operate, to ultimately create more social impact for people and planet.

We think deeply about systems that hold social challenges in place.

It was revolting. As I sat there each morning, I faced off with a laminated poster of a Brazilian archbishop, Dom Hélda Cȃmara. Emanating papal rizz, he blessed me with the above quote. No complaining about breakfast then… (insert teenage eye roll). And try as I might to run away and become a ruthless capitalist, between my family values and breakfasts with the archbishop, the dye was cast.

Growing up in 1990s Australia, I had the breakfast delight of weet-bix with skim milk.
